Bensonville, Illinois, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) April 16, 2011 -- The online poker shutdown that is shaking the online poker world right now is lead by Pokerstars, Fulltiltpoker, and Ultimatebet no longer being allowed to operate due to illegal activities and their domain being taken away by the US government.
The poker sites that are still being accepted are the following:
Playersonly.com - Now the biggest US accepted online poker site
Bodogpoker.com
Carbonpoker.com
This shutdown is very similar to what many saw 4 years ago when Party Poker and others closed their doors to US players. On this go around the sites such as Stars and Tilt are losing their .com, so for the most part they are losing the entire world's market share.
Poker players are frantically searching for what happened and if their money is safe. What many experts believe will happen is that these 3 big poker rooms will come to an agreement with the United States to get their domains back, and the US will allow the poker rooms to give the money back to the players in which they had in their account.
After this agreement is made, it is expected the domains will be released back to the owners when all requirements are met requested from the United States Justice.
Many feel it is dooms day, but those who went through the UIGEA know the sky is not falling and things will settle down once again.
